I am interested in a two door sports car as an investment. My concern with the cobra is I would always have to watch it like a hawk in the parking lot and could not really enjoy a meal at a restaraunt etc. The porsche has the avantage of a back seat and fully closing top. The disadvantage is it is more common and maintence would be costly.|||The Cobra replica will have no investment value as you will probably always be able to buy a Cobra replica.
If you want a cool car to drive on a semi-regular basis I would go for the Cobra replica. If you want a car that will appreciate in value go for the Porsche, but as you suggest you will have to be very careful when you drive it.|||Hopefully I can find a used Cobra that has already taken the depreciation hit!
