As the weather has gone colder and colder over the last few weeks, my Porsche has started to smell heavily of petrol from the exhaust. It's not from the tank, I checked that.. Is it normal for such a big engine?|||it is the chock , when it is a cold weather the chock fire up to keep the engine at proper idling ratio, if you give it a good long run on the motor way for a few miles you will find the carbon residue will clear in the injector and she should be fine.
good luck mate|||Because of incomplete combustion, you should look at your exhaust system and make sure that the engine can breath properly. As incomplete combustion can lead to fire coming out of the exhaust, as the petrol goes up the exhaust system, when you accelerate hard and gets ignited by the air at the end of the tail pipes|||Visit www.rennlist.com for one of the most knowledgeable Porsche 928 communities around.
