My dad's always had a decorative horse on his Cadillac's and just bought a Porsche Cayenne. Is there some extremely strong double sided tape or High powered magnet system available. I don't want it to get stolen or to fly off on the highway? Drilling holes in the hood of a Porsche would really hurt the value|||3M makes a good molding tape, but comeon, don't do that to a Porsche.|||duct tape|||consult

As for putting a hood ornament on is a bad idea altogether. It just wouldn't look right on a Porsche.|||Why in gods name would you want to put a hood ornament on a porsche?!?!? forget the holes, having a hood ornament on a porsche in any way would decrease the value. that's just a terrible idea|||contact cement|||Have you thought about earthquake wax. I once put it on my kid's pantseat, and he was immobilized for 3 days. But, seriously, folks, you might try earthquake wax.|||To be honest, I sounds like you've anwsered your own question. Those are the only ways that i know. Just drill the holes! If you want to ornament, it cannot hurt the value to much. It is probable the same as damage from the minor rocks dings on the highway. I hope this help-Matt|||DON'T YOU DARE RUIN A PORSCHE!!!!.....OH WAIT SINCE IT IS A CAYENNE GO AHEAD USE 3M...ALSO YOU CAN JUST GOOGLE IT.|||Dude! The ostentatiousness of a Porsche on its own isn't good enough for you?!?!? ;)|||Try some Big League Chew|||JB Weld.|||You can try molding it to the Porsche crest itself. That way you are only damaging the crest and not the hood itself. You can always buy another crest for the Cayenne.
To do this properly you would probably want to body paint the crest so it looks seemless. I would still be concerned that depending on what sort of drag this new hood ornament makes, that it might pop off and come back at the windshield.|||Put it on the dashboard instead.|||You could get some very strong adhesive; thats how they're all attached.
