What happens to BWM that are sold to Porsche centers?

I have a friend who just sold his BMW 5 series to a Porsche center. He bought a Porsche Cayenne S what would happen to his old car.|||Porsche must have given him a very low price for his car. They will make profit from this I assure you.


Porsche will sell the car more expensive through their used car division... they might offer financing a loan etc... and eventually they willl sell it and make more money from that deal also....Dealers never loose... and your friend lost some cash. but I guess as he bought such a nice SUV.. it does not matter if he wasted 5-6 grand.


good luck and never sell your old car through a dealer.. better sell it privately and pay the new one with money.|||It will be sold as a used car, probably sent to their used car lot or to another used car dealer|||depends on the condition and milage on the BMW generally a good condition car with less than 70K miles would be sold as a used car on the dealers used lot a car in poor condition or high milage would go to an Auto Auction to be sold off to used car dealers.|||they will either sell it as a used car on their lot or (more likely) they will sell it to another dealer or sell it at auction
