How reliable are Porsche's compared to more exotic cars and also compared to ordinary cars?

Mechanically over time i'm talking about. Can porsche be used as a daily driver?|||I owned quite a few of these, Gt3. Infact when my boss sold me his 360 CS I traded mine in for a porche beacuse Ferrari was killing me with ever 3k i had to change breaks and ect.





porsche is GREAT compared to any car in the world reliable and amazing. Porche is great if u dont want to get noticed and you want a fast car.





My ferrari was nice, but i was more scared to leave it parked where i worked.

They are the most reliable German brand. Better than BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi.





As far as I know and heard, they are much more reliable, more practical, and more fuel efficient than Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Aston Martins, Jaguar's, Spykers, and others.





They are not as good as Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Nissan, Infiniti, and Mazda. But they are pretty much better than the other companies.|||I have driven over 300,000 miles over a series of three 911's with only one failure that caused me 10 minutes of grief. It was on my first Porsche ('72 911) and the battery cable to to the fusebox came loose and the car quit at a stop light. figured it out in a couple of minutes and was off and running. Every other item that I have worked on was a maintenance item.|||porsche is MUCH less likely to get stolen and much cheaper to own and repair compared to cars like Ferrari, Lambo or Bentley.





it's fuel economy is 15/22, which is better than any of those other 4.





But 911/Carrera gets less "OMFG HOT RIDE!" than any of those other cars...|||They can be used as a daily driver. However they still aren't the most reliable cars in the world. My Uncle is a doctor so his spoiled kids got used Porsches as first cars and those cars drained their wallets and to this day one of my cousins likes my Nissan better than his Porsche.|||I don;t know to much, but i do know compared to other exotic cars they are very reliable. I have always considered a Porsche to be an every day driver They are fantastic card, and are very mechanically sound. Just make sure to maintain it regularly.
