How do i get a coil out of a 944 porsche?

It's a 1987 Porsche non-turbo model. Im replacing the coil and it seem to be stuck when i try taking it out. It looks like the only thing holding it in is a medal piece wrapped around it, but there is nowhere to unscrew it. Help?|||it helps if you remove the power steering reservoir. you can leave the hoses connected, just loosen the clamp and move it out of the way. that way you can get to the fastener for the strap holding the coil in place. should be underneath the coil.
